I was an athlete from childhood through college. I took yoga as a "fluff" course my senior year. But I soon learned that it wasn't fluff. It's been a powerful physical, emotional, mental and spiritual growth tool.
After college I developed chronic fatigue and illness. Life changed dramatically. I addressed childhood trauma, but then more trauma happened.
Yoga, bodywork, energy-work, music, nature, warm connections and cooking have supplied me with the tools and the wisdom to stay present in my body. Through the ups and downs of life over 30 years of practice and 20+ years of teaching, I've learned that yoga and bodywork need to adjust as life happens.
Music is soul food. Whether I'm writing a song to express some inner unfolding, playing for seniors or chanting kirtan, music has an uncanny ability to create connection, to soothe, to release, to grieve, to express, to uplift, to commune.
It is my pleasure to get to know you and offer a nuanced variety of practices that meet you or your group where you are today and help you shine even brighter! Let me know how I can support you!
